Permac’s CEO Darlene Miller attended and actively participated at the Farnborough July 2014 airshow. Meetings were held with aerospace buyers, engineers, and business development customers from several countries. The Farnborough show was a complete success, and generated significant interest from companies in both the US and Europe. Darlene scheduled numerous meetings with key aerospace industry contacts that were seeking competitive sources for small metal and plastic machined parts from established companies. Emphasis at 2014 by customers and prospects was focused on the market needs driven by aerospace airframe, engine, and avionics companies to reduce cost, lead time, and defects. The feedback and responses from customers and prospects was very positive, as Permac’s is soon to be celebrating 50 years in business as a precision aerospace machine shop, and operates a lean and efficient factory that knows and responds to the increasing demands of the aerospace industry and customers. Of particular interest was Permac Industries quick turn prototype machining center with lead times in less than a week. The quick turn machining center is a resource to help customers capture more business and new business.
The entire Permac Industries team expresses their warmest thanks to everyone that met with Darlene at Farnborough’s 2014 airshow. We listened and understand your needs, and are prepared to respond, help, and support the legacy and new platforms, programs, and projects.
